Denver-based Spectrum Retirement Communities announced the completion of its newest community, Meadow Brook Senior Living in Fishers, Indiana—a fast-growing suburb of Indianapolis. The 80,250-square-foot community, located just off Easy Street in the town of Fishers, will offer a total of 88 rental units: 10 independent living, 60 assisted living, and 18 memory care. Residences include studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. As with all Spectrum communities, Meadow Brook hosts on-site personal care services and provides licensed professionals who offer occupational and speech therapies, monthly health screenings, and physical rehabilitation.

Meadow Brook features two levels of memory care: (1) The Residence ClubSM is a transitional memory care program that supports seniors with mild cognitive impairment yet offers a high level of independence. Residents live in their selected assisted living apartments, and groups limited to 10-12 participants socialize together and participate in structured activities based on their preferences and abilities. (2) The Path to the PresentSM program, developed by Mather LifeWays® for residents with moderate- to late-stage dementia, is a more restrictive but still homelike environment. The program caters to the individual’s unique personality, core values, and personal preferences with specialized activities designed to stimulate each person’s highest level of participation.

Meadow Brook is Spectrum’s 29th community in 11 states (from New York to Oregon) and its second community in Indiana. Vessel Architecture & Design, based in St. Louis, was the architect for Meadow Brook; Catamount Constructors, with offices in Atlanta, Denver, and San Antonio, was general contractor on the project.
