The start of spring came with a flurry of new hires at several brokerage firms. First, Andrew Morris joined Greystone as its Director of Healthcare Acquisitions, where he will report to Arthur Hatzopoulos, Corporate Executive Vice President at the company. Mr. Morris comes from Hana2.0 Property Group where he was Director of Investments and focused on sourcing and closing healthcare real estate acquisitions. Before that, he also held roles at Cascade Capital GroupOmega Healthcare Investors, and GE Capital. At Greystone, Mr. Morris will be focusing on seniors housing and healthcare acquisition opportunities but zeroing in on the skilled nursing sector. 

CBRE hired John Sweeny as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets where he will take on national investment sales for the firm. Mr. Sweeny comes to CBRE from Virtus Real Estate Capital, a private equity firm focused on alternative real estate asset classes, where he led the senior housing and medical office investment platforms. Before that, he was Director at Arcapita. He will partner with CBRE’s Aron Will and Austin Sacco as well as Josh Hausfeld and Gordon Reynolds to provide debt and structured finance, investment sales, and investment banking services. 

Finally, MONTICELLOAM, LLC appointed Ashish Sah as Managing Director for business development. Mr. Shah brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare and traditional real estate to the firm and will concentrate on growing Monticello’s capital and risk management capabilities. Prior to Monticello, Mr. Shah co-led Formation Capital’s Lending Group and handled business development and capital markets/syndications. He also previously held roles at Oxford Finance and GE Healthcare Financial Services
