Carnegie Capital, the national seniors housing debt brokerage founded and run by JD Stettin and David Farhadian, celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a $124 million, or $117,100 per bed, portfolio acquisition transaction. The Show Me State deal involved Baptist Home of Independence, an 118-bed skilled nursing facility and 20-bed Residential Care Facility in the town of Independence. Built in 2020, Avenida Watermarq is a 161-unit, Class-A active adult community in an affluent suburb of Nashville. There are one- and two-bedroom options averaging 919 square feet per unit. Occupancy was 87%.
