Real estate investment firm Tryko Partners added to its portfolio in Maryland with the acquisition of Brighton Gardens of Tuckerman Lane in Rockville and Sunrise of Carroll in Westminster. The purchase price was not disclosed, but Tryko has a significant capital improvement project planned for both properties. Both properties will also be rebranded and renamed.   Built in 1998, Brighton Gardens of Tuckerman Lane is a 140-bed assisted living/skilled nursing facility – with the two components renamed The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane and Tuckerman Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, respectively. In an effort to expand its greater Philadelphia real estate presence, Tryko Partners has acquired Attleboro Community, a 415-bed CCRC in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Wilmac Corporation sold the 18-acre community, which has been rebranded as Oxford Enhanced Senior Living.   The campus’ skilled nursing facility, Oxford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, has a five-star rating from CMS. Tryko Adds to Rhode Island SNF Portfolio

Tryko Partners added to its Rhode Island skilled nursing portfolio with the acquisition of a 120-bed facility in North Kingstown. Named Scalabrini Villa, the one-story facility is set on a bucolic property facing Narragansett Bay. The Brown family (Brown University’s namesake) donated the site to Rhode Island Hospital, which operated a children’s hospital there for decades.
