VIUM Capital has been busy lately, recently arranging two refinances and one acquisition loan. First, the company arranged a refinance for a skilled nursing facility with a $9.5 million HUD loan, providing non-recourse, low-interest, long-term debt. Back in 2020, the company closed a bridge loan for the portfolio acquisition of this property and four other skilled nursing facilities in Indiana, and the remaining facilities are set to follow into HUD shortly. VIUM Capital Closes Out First Full Year In Style

Just a year and half after its inception, VIUM Capital announced it closed 42 transactions totaling nearly $700 million in 2021, with nearly half of those deals closing in the fourth quarter. The deal total was fairly even between bridge and HUD loans, and we learned about several of these closings this month.  In a recapitalization effort to retire existing debt, cover closing costs and take equity out, two assisted living/memory care communities in Washington received a $14 million bridge loan from VIUM. VIUM Capital Finances Two Transactions

VIUM Capital has provided financing for two transactions spanning seven total properties. The first deal involved the acquisition of a six-property portfolio consisting of five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living community. The properties, all located in southeast Michigan, were purchased for $64.44 million and received $58 million of bridge-to-HUD financing. Funds were provided for acquisition costs and capex being used to improve building aesthetics, add a short-term rehab in one of the buildings and other specialty units.
