The start of spring came with a flurry of new hires at several brokerage firms. First, Andrew Morris joined Greystone as its Director of Healthcare Acquisitions, where he will report to Arthur Hatzopoulos, Corporate Executive Vice President at the company. Mr. Morris comes from Hana2.0 Property Group where he was Director of Investments and focused on sourcing and closing healthcare real estate acquisitions. Greystone Funds Ohio SNF Acquisition
To fund the acquisition of a skilled nursing facility in Youngstown, Ohio, Fred Levine of Greystone arranged bridge financing for the new owner. Built in 1964, the facility features 99 beds and has been owned and operated by Guardian Healthcare. However, going forward, Bal Harbour Management will take over day-to-day management. The bridge loan comes out to $3.98 million, or around $40,200 per bed. Greystone Secures Bridge Financing for Missouri SNF
The Greystone Seniors Housing Capital Markets team secured bridge financing to refinance a 147-bed skilled nursing facility in Missouri. Owned by RSF Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm focused primarily on the seniors housing sector, the facility was built around 10 years ago. There was previously a five-year term loan on the property, which is being taken out by a new $12 million loan with a two-year term. Read More »
